COOLING TOWER CONSTRUSTION

Corrosion Proof

Fiberglass hot and cold water basins have corrosion-proof construction that prevents rot and degradation. Hot dip galvanized steel is used for all steel parts, including assembly hardware.

Mechanical Equipment

In order to mount the cooling tower motor as an IE2 flange mounted induced-draft axial aerodynamic fan, Welltech selects cooling tower motors from manufacturers such as Hindustan, Bharat Bijlee, and comparable brands. It is possible to do routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, such as oil changes, from outside the cooling tower. The cast aluminium alloy blades on the Welltech type fans used in the towers are put together with a hub. Pitch adjustment of the blades allows for optimal use of rated horsepower.

Water Distribution System

The mechanical rotary sprinkler located on top of the fill medium is vertically connected to the hot water input at the bottom collection sump of the round cooling tower. Extended arm pipes with orifices are a feature of the mechanical rotary sprinkler design.

Ease Maintenance

It is possible to clean the distribution basin and nozzles while the tower is in use. The casing has an access door that can be used for maintenance and inspection.

Efficient PVC Film-Type Fill

FRP Casing

The cooling tower casing has been made from high-quality, durable materials such as resins, fiber glass reinforced polyester, and other. For large cooling towers, further embossing is done for added strength.

Sprinkler

Water sprinklers that are controlled are used to distribute water equally over the honeycomb sections. With sealed ball bearings to handle thrust and radial loads, the specially designed rotating sprinkler head is composed of PVC/aluminium alloy to prevent corrosion. Sprinklers made of brass and stainless steel are also available for an additional fee.

Cooling Tower Fan

The axial flow type of the Welltech cast aluminium alloy fan is in terms of aerodynamic designed to attain great efficiency. At an additional cost, FRP fan units are also available upon request.

PVC Honeycomb fills

PVC Honeycomb fills having more surface area for contact. Increases the rate of transfer of heat by dividing entering air and water into many streams that have equal distribution across the water’s cross section and are quick to refill.
